Driver Rehabilitation Specialist Department of Occupational Therapy
The Department of Occupational Therapy, College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month non-tenure track Driver Rehabilitation Specialist (official university title Clinical Lecturer or Clinical Assistant Professor) position. The successful applicant will engage in clinical practice in driver rehabilitation and contribute to research programs with a focus on driver rehabilitation assessment and/or intervention. Applicants must have a minimum of a master’s degree (for the Clinical Lecturer position) or a Ph.D. (for the Clinical Assistant Professor position) and be licensed/license eligible as an occupational therapist in the state of Florida. Three years of driver rehabilitation experience is essential. Applicants must be a certified driver rehabilitation specialist (CDRS), or be eligible to complete the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED) certification examination, shortly after being hired.
