Position Details 
This is a part time to full time contract position in our neurodivergent-affirming community based pediatric practice with available regions including Langley, Mission, Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. This position involves working with a diverse group of funders including MCFD, CBIPCY, schools and parents to provide home, school and community-based rehabilitation for children with autism, brain injuries and other developmental concerns. Registration with the RASP or eligibility for RASP is required. Duties include community-based assessment and implementation of treatment plans to address one or more of ADLs, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, visual perception and other functional areas. A pediatric caseload can also be combined with adult community-based rehabilitation depending on clinician interest and 


Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable vehicle to use for clinical appointments
  • Experience working with agency payers is a strong asset
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses
  • Current member of COTBC or eligible for registration
  • Minimum 1 year of paediatric OT work experience is required
  • 2 years overall clinical work experience is preferred (work experience as a behavioural interventionist with paediatric clients will be considered)
