Occupational Therapist

04/16/2024-06/15/2024

Are you looking for a refreshing change in your career? Are you looking to move to Canada's beautiful Okanagan Valley? Consider joining Meridian Rehabilitation Consulting. Our company was founded in 2005 and is:

· 100% Employee-owned

· OT-founded

· Multi-disciplinary (including OTs, SLPs, Kinesiologists and Rehabilitation Assistants)

We are currently looking for OTs to work in our Penticton clinic. With additional clinics in Kelowna, Vancouver, Vernon, Kamloops and Ireland, the job would be well suited to someone who might want to explore different areas of the province or internationally in future. If you have any interest in working in any of our Okanagan clinics, please feel free to reach out to us to see if we have current openings.

We strive for excellence in our rehabilitation services. To this end, we invest heavily in professional development and provide numerous workshops, training programs, and mentorship initiatives. We value and foster a collaborative, empowering, and fun workplace. Our team is looking for OTs who wants to be part of our close-knit group, who have a passion for giving excellent therapy, and who are excited about developing themselves and their careers. We are currently looking to fill 2 OT positions.  One for pediatrics and the other for adults (or a mix).

Meridian has a unique employment model. While many rehabilitation companies operate on a sub-contractor model, we hire employees. “Team” is important to us: we are looking for people who want to make a commitment to a team, and we offer commitment in return. Full-time hours are guaranteed, but we pay our therapists by the hour in order to allow for a fully flexible schedule. Even though we have flexible work hours, our staff still receive the benefits of being employees, including paid admin time, paid sick-days, paid vacation and stat holidays, and extended health benefits. We provide ongoing mentorship, education and training to our therapy team. For example, every employee in our company has weekly mentorship sessions with a senior therapist. Plus, there are ample opportunities to collaborate with colleagues on a daily basis at the clinic. We strive to build lasting relationships with our staff members and have many opportunities for advancement within the company.
