Occupational therapy practitioners have long been aware of the need for occupation-based assessments during the evaluation process. However, client factor-based assessments continue to be the norm in current practice. This webinar aims to explore occupation-based assessment tools for use in a variety of practice settings within the pediatric population, encouraging participants to integrate these tools in their everyday practice.  

After taking place in this webinar, you will be able to:

  1. Identify a minimum of 2 occupation-based assessments that can be used within their area of practice, including school-based, outpatient, and inpatient settings.
  2. Identify the importance of using occupation-based assessments to promote client well-being and occupational therapy’s value to stakeholders.
Beginner (0-2 years of experience in this specific practice area)

Mental health, Cognitive, Neurological/neuromuscular, Musculoskeletal, Cardiovascular and respiratory, Digestive/metabolic/endocrine, General physical health, Vocational rehabilitation, Health promotion and wellness, Educators
