It is strongly recommended that you read the NOTCE Resource Manual to learn about the development of the exam, view the blueprint and obtain a list of helpful resources to prepare for the exam.
Exam Attempts
Exam candidates have three attempts to pass the NOTCE. After three attempts, candidates will no longer be eligible to write the NOTCE.
Language
The NOTCE is offered in either one of Canada's two official languages. Candidates must indicate their choice of exam language(s) at the time of registration. Plain language is used to reflect a national audience.
Testing Accommodations
Testing accommodations for the NOTCE are granted upon request. Candidates will require to submit an application form within the specific timelines to ensure they secure the needed accommodations. Supporting documentation will be required for every request.
Dates/Deadlines/Locations
Please note that in order to maintain fair and consistent practice towards all candidates, registration deadlines are strictly maintained.
