Becoming a CAOT Provisional Associate (PA):

To become a CAOT Provisional Associate, you are required to pre-pay for your first-year of membership fees and insurance for our next membership year (October 1st – September 30th).  There are two different options for you to pre-pay for your membership and insurance.

  1. If you are interested in the NOTCE Study Guide and Practice Exam, the NOTCE “Ready for Work” Bundle is a great option! You receive the NOTCE Study Guide and Practice Exam, the original NOTCE Study Guide and Practice Exam (TOTEM/TOTE), which provides you with 200 extra practice questions, first-year membership with CAOT for the upcoming membership year and professional liability insurance for the upcoming year. By purchasing the NOTCE “Ready for Work” Bundle online, you will automatically be converted to a CAOT Provisional Associate within 3 business days, and will be contacted by email with confirmation of your PA status.
  2. If you are not interested in purchasing the exam preparation materials, you can simply pre-pay for your first-year membership fees and insurance, by filling out our Membership Registration form. Please note “Pre-order” on the top of your form and email your completed form to membership@caot.ca or fax it to 613-523-2552.  Your form will be processed within 1-3 business days of receipt, and you will be contacted by email with confirmation of your PA status.

Once you are converted to a CAOT Provisional Associate, your membership services team will provide you with further details, and will assist you in setting up insurance to cover you immediately, if required.

If you have any questions, or need assistance completing your pre-order, your membership services team would be happy to help!  Please contact membership@caot.ca, or call 1-800-434-2268 ext. 246 (Chris) or ext. 225 (Michelle – bilingual) for assistance.
