Parenting and Chronic Illness - Web link Access

All mothers are tired! Drawing on a study of 350 mothers with and without inflammatory arthritis, this webinar describes how parenting tasks and sense of efficacy as a mother are experienced in the presence of a chronic illness. Parenting is an important life role. Chronic illness or health conditions have an impact on how adults participate in parenting tasks and experience role engagement, and tips from mothers who have ´figured things out’ are useful to occupational therapists working with clients facing new challenges as a result of simultaneously managing their health condition and their occupation as mother.
