The CAOT Occupational Therapy Exam Module (OTEM) assists candidates to prepare for the National Occupational Therapy Certification Examination (NOTCE) through online group discussion of practice questions.
OTEM offers exam candidates the opportunity to work through and discuss the rationale and reasoning that address a series of NOTCE practice questions through a facilitated discussion with an experienced occupational therapist. OTEM small groups will meet online once a week for 6 weeks or during one weekend, discussing case scenarios reviewing 200 questions in total. Each small group will be facilitated by a registered occupational therapist that is knowledgeable of the content and the clinical reasoning required to successfully answer the practice questions.
The goal of OTEM is to uncover the clinical reasoning required to successfully answer these practice questions.
- There is no preparation required. All cases and questions will be reviewed and discussed during the live webinars. You will not be able to print the cases, questions or rationale or view them outside the live webinars.
