Description: The session will discuss the general physiology of arthritis, lifestyle behaviours to promote overall well-being of people living with arthritis, useful tools for arthritic patients to reduce progression of arthritis, and community resources for arthritis patients to improve health outcomes. Arthritis pain and the management of chronic pain will also be discussed throughout the presentation, especially the role of occupational therapists in managing chronic arthritis pain.
