Approximately 150,000 Canadian children and youth sustain a traumatic brain injury each year (Brain Injury Society of Toronto, 2017). As their brain is not fully developed, it is importance to recognize some differences in how the brain injury affects executive function in children. Part 1 of this two-part webinar series will discuss the domains of executive function, as well as review the literature supporting the unique role occupational therapists have in assessing and treating executive function in children.
