Associate Professor/Professor & Director, Center for Community for Partnerships


The Department of Occupational Therapy at Colorado State University is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty member at the associate professor/professor rank. This 12-month tenure-track appointment will begin June 1, 2017, or as negotiated. Selected faculty will be responsible for (a) teaching and advising at the graduate level; (b) leading and administering the Center for Community Partnerships; (c) conducting and disseminating research related to human performance and participation in everyday occupations and contexts; and (d) engaging in service.

Colorado State University is a Carnegie I research institution and the Occupational Therapy Department ( is designated as a Program of Research and Scholarly Excellence. The Department’s mission is to optimize human performance and participation in everyday occupations and contexts across the life span through research, teaching, and community-based practice. The Department currently offers two degree options, the M.OT and MS, to prepare entry-level occupational therapists. Its entry-level program is ranked nationally among the top-ten programs by U.S. News & World Report. The Department’s PhD in Occupation and Rehabilitation Science currently has 11 students. Students are actively engaged with faculty members’ programs of research and in two practice and outreach arms: the Assistive Technology Resource Center and the Center for Community Partnerships.
