ADL - This assessment has received wide acclaim in its original French language. The ADL Profile was developed to provide a measure of independence in everyday activities (personal activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living) for individuals with traumatic brain injuries. It incorporates tasks that are often complex and non-routine for people recovering from traumatic brain injury and is a valuable tool for occupational therapists working with this population. Package of 5 forms.

COPM - is an individualized measure designed for use by occupational therapists to detect a client's self-perceived change in occupational performance over time. Includes 3 rating scales and 100 measurement forms.

MISA - is an evaluation tool that focuses on the ability of a patient to consume a variety of food and liquid textures safely and independently. The MISA will be of great interest to occupational therapists because of its emphasis on function, rather than physiologic assessment. The goal of the MISA is to provide the therapist with information pertaining to an individual's day to day function, and to quantify an individual's Ingestive skills reliably and validly. This will guide the therapist to areas that are amenable to rehabilitation in a client-centred and purposeful manner. This manual contains pertinent information on the MISA development, psychometric testing, instructions for use and scoring. Handy symbols are used throughout to guide the user efficiently through the manual and assessment form. For your convenience, each manual comes with 20 assessment forms.

FCE - The emphasis of this book is on the clinical reasoning required for FCEs. This is what differentiates the skilled clinician from the technician. The credibility that clinicians bring to FCEs is not only their qualifications, but also the clinical reasoning and its explication when presenting their reports. What is your opinion, and how did you reach it?' Designed as an adjunct to professional training and technical instrument administration courses, this guide is not intended as an FCE training manual, but is a valuable resource to health care professionals starting out in this specialized field or wanting to build their skills as competent FCE clinicians. Referral sources and FCE users, including injured workers, can use the book to become discriminating FCE consumers; assisting selection of competent practitioners, making appropriate referrals and using FCE reports effectively.
