There have been significant increases in the prevalence of pediatric depression and anxiety associated with the COVID-19 pandemic (Racine, et al., 2021; Slomski, 2021). Occupational therapists play a pivotal role in helping children increase self-awareness, understand their emotions, and develop effective self-regulation strategies.
This webinar will delve into models of occupational therapy and have a focus on pediatric anxiety, resilience, and regulation. By analyzing existing evidence and research, a case study example will illustrate how occupational therapy can effectively support children in managing anxiety, fostering resilience, and enhancing self-regulation.
