Financial management activities are ubiquitous and important daily occupations for most adults in North America. Occupational therapists have a growing role in assessing and addressing client financial management capability, financial occupations, and financial well-being. However, many occupational therapists have questions about evidence-informed practice in this area.
This webinar will explore the evidence and practice guidance for occupational therapists addressing client financial related activities and occupations. Using evidence-informed frameworks from the areas of economics, neuropsychology, health, and rehabilitation, this webinar will explore current knowledge and thinking related to the areas of financial capability and financial well-being. From a biopsychosocial perspective that acknowledges the salient role of environment and context, this webinar will also explore evidence-informed assessment and intervention practice related to client financial activities and occupations.
